Doha Port

The revitalization of Mina District at Doha Port called for a lighting solution that would celebrate the district's vibrant character while preserving its traditional architectural identity. MASQ developed the lighting design with a focus on enhancing the waterfront experience through a balanced combination of decorative, façade, and public realm lighting.

Custom-designed vintage lanterns create a distinctive play of light and shadow across the facades and pedestrian areas, while brass-finished luminaires were selected to complement the district's heritage-inspired architecture. Along the waterfront, tunable white wall washers were integrated to provide dynamic lighting scenes during events and special occasions, adding flexibility to the public space while maintaining visual harmony throughout the district.

The project was delivered in collaboration with the Supreme Committee, Dar Al-Handasah, Domopan, Structurel, Fiberli, Egoluce, Lumisphere, Salvi, and Ghidini, contributing to the successful transformation of one of Doha's most recognizable waterfront destinations.
