Katara Hills - Project | MASQ Lighting

Katara Hills is considered one of the largest public parks in Doha. The vast landscape holds hundreds of trees from around the world, each lit to be emphasized against the night rather than simply illuminated. 

Jogging tracks were kept deliberately low-lit, creating a leading pathway of light rather than flooding the route, while distinctive customized fixtures with the light source integrated directly inside the stone itself guide the driveway up the hill without disrupting the natural setting. Floor-recessed uplights and grazers extend that same restraint to walkers and runners throughout the park. 

Together, these elements turn the landscape into a landmark; one built on beauty and imagination rather than brightness alone.
