We are thrilled to announce that MASQ has been awarded the prestigious LIT Awards for landscape lighting design for Al Janoub Stadium. This award is a testament to our dedication, creativity, and expertise in creating visually stunning lighting designs that enhance the beauty and functionality of various spaces. The LIT Awards is one of the most coveted awards in the industry and winning it is a great honor for MASQ.

The lighting of Al Janoub stadium in Qatar, which hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup, was a complicated technological task, and the lighting solution had to fit the geometry of the elegant and futuristic design by the development and execution of the exterior lighting, for both stadium and its surroundings, from bicycle paths, horse-riding and running tracks to restaurants, gyms and parkland.

To illuminate the entire project, 313 columns and 1090 luminaires were used, a model that also appeals to energy efficiency with independent high transparency lenses. And for the columns, to provide the intended luminous feeling, different heights ranging from 5 m to 16.2 m were installed. Basic principles of lighting the outdoor area were closely examined, and the appropriate lux level was provided to the practice courts to ensure that they did not interfere with the light level in the relaxed pedestrian areas around the stadium.

The award also provides MASQ with valuable exposure within the industry, helping to raise the company's profile and attract new clients. It is a mark of recognition that will undoubtedly help us to secure t=new and exciting lighting design projects in the future.

Qatar continued it’s train of success preparing for the World Cup season by including a new expansion to Hamad International Airport. MASQ Squad had the pleasure of being part in such an achievement and finding the right lighting design solutions for this project.

For the food court, which was contracted by Blueprint, MASQ worked alongside with Highness and Aura group to design the lighting and supply from our wide range of manufacturers such as Linealight, LUG, Intralighting, Signify, Indelague ROXO Lighting. The concept consisted of providing a lighting installation that’s eye catching and playful all over the court, as well as arranging direct lighting in a dynamic and flowing way across the space.

This Canopy located on the borders, between #SaudiArabia and #Qatar is another successful Collaboration with KhatibandAlami and a project that we are proud to have worked on.

The canopy frames were designed as media facades to display multiple content and messages, from welcoming and farewell, to events, flags, ads and much more.

Each canopy was treated to have a flexible Lighting Design where the needed moods and concepts can be accomplished using #RGBW fixtures that can be tweaked to create the desired scenes.

The lighting of Al Janoub stadium in Qatar, which will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, was a complicated technological task, and the lighting solution had to fit the geometry of the elegant and futuristic design by the development and execution of the exterior lighting, for both stadium and its surroundings, from bicycle paths, horse-riding and running tracks to restaurants, gyms and parkland.

It is a stadium that from its more futuristic version, recalls the past sailor of Al Wakrah, the interior structure itself and the luminous reflection make it possible to remember the hull of a ship.

Lighting, architecture, and football have all triumphed therefore.

تم فحص المبادئ الأساسية لإضاءة المنطقة الخارجية عن كثب ، وتم توفير مستوى الانارة المناسب لملاعب التدريب للتأكد من أنها لا تتداخل مستوى الإضاءة في مناطق المشاة المريحة حول الاستاد فبذلك تكون قد انتصرت الإضاءة والهندسة المعمارية وكرة القدم

Katara Hills is an important public area for meetings and entertainment for locals and visitors.

The park’s location, to the beach, commercial components, and cultural attractions enhances the wider Katara complex
.The site’s impressive geography gives vistas of the city and differentiates it from other public open areas. Katara Hills is considered one of the largest public parks in Doha, where hundreds of trees from different parts of the world were grown, lit to look spectacular at night. Discrete jogging tracks, Light and shadows over the place and landscape transforming the hills into a landmark

Distinctive stone recessed grazers were installed on the driveway up the hill, while a wall recessed fixture directs the driveway to the underground parking area, in addition to the floor recessed up lights and floor grazers lighting the path for walkers and runners.

The lighting design was developed considering the landscape features; the shape and size of each and every tree were foreseen to provide optimal lighting for the variety of plants on the list.

تم تثبيت تركيبات الإضاءة الحجرية المميزة المريحة على الممر أعلى التل، في حين أن تركيبات مثبتة في الحائط توجه الممر إلى منطقة وقوف السيارات تحت الأرض ، بالإضافة إلى مصابيح أرضية متداخلة ومصابيح أرضية تضيء المسار للمشاة والعدائين
